Thankfully the OSG’s are casting their magic touch this way too and I’ve bagged some pretty awesome books (among other things) over the last few weeks. There were a few more I would have loved to get my hands on but boy oh boy these places like to charge a lot sometimes. There was one particular Dick Bruna alphabet book that had such awesome illustrations, but at £20 and with the thought of little grabby hands in my mind, I quickly returned it to the shelf.

  1. I love Dick Bruna and I love charity shops. Have had two amazing loads of treasure from them this week including denim dungarees for Bertie, a tonne of new toys for him too, and Annabel Karmel's much recommended weaning book for 30p. Whoop. x

  4. Dick Bruna: "Schwing''.

We have a little collection going on but his Miffy ones seem to be a big little with Elke at the moment. If I have to read Dance with Miffy one more time..

    Enid Blyton: ''Schwing Schwing''

I may or may not have just watched Wayne's World. xx

  5. I grew up reading Dick Bruna and had a MIffy cut out on my wall as a little girl which I used to say goodnight to every night. Love him.

Keep adding to that library - it'll be a treasured collection, I'm sure...Such precious times reading to little ones :)
